We started Viewership because the agencies we watched were still treating GEO as an SEO add-on. It isn't. It's a different discipline, and it required building something new.

Wyatt built the first iteration of what became Viewership while doing growth work for clients like Intuit and Interchain Foundation. He kept running into the same problem: brands were investing heavily in content and SEO, but none of it was optimized for the sources that LLMs actually learn from.

Reddit threads, YouTube videos, third-party reviews, press placements, and well-structured editorial content were the things driving citations. Traditional agencies weren't set up to execute across all of those channels in a coordinated way.

Connor joined to build the infrastructure. His background in software engineering, and specifically in automated content workflows, made it possible to operate at the kind of scale GEO requires without the usual headcount bloat.

Viewership now runs GEO programs for a small number of clients. We don't take everyone, and we don't pretend to be a full-service agency. We're a focused team doing one thing well.

Every client gets a custom tracking setup: a set of high-intent prompts relevant to their space, monitored across the major LLMs, with referral traffic attribution and a dashboard that connects it all back to revenue.

The goal isn't citations for their own sake. It's being the brand that comes to mind, and to the model, when your customer is making a decision.
